Cisco Rv340 Client To Site Vpn

Surprising Power in an Affordable Box

I received an RV345P router as a test unit to set up in store. Initial setup was incredibly easy as the GUI functions much like a residential router would, with well organized tabs and a surprising amount of features. Local network configuration was a snap and the PoE ports are definitely a plus for dealing with some of the extra cable clutter. I haven't had a chance to play with some of the more advanced features yet, but even just looking through the settings available has me impressed by what this router has to offer.

Uses Cisco Smart Licensing for activation and license management. Convenient but I had some trouble getting that part set up at first, as the router didn't let me know about activation or licensing until I had gone in and looked specifically for it in the configuration. Roxio toast for mac os x.
